Hopefully everyone has already heard about and is planning to participate in the 4th Annual TD Canada Trust Women’s Hockey Tournament for Girls Inc. being held in Brockville this spring, April 5-7 2013.

For those of you who participated in past years, you already know what a great wrap-up to the season this event is – fun, friends, hockey and supporting programs for girls.

This tournament is being planned to raise funds for Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada, a local not for profit which offers programs for girls and young women to inspire them to be strong, smart, and bold.  We also hope to raise the profile of women’s hockey in this area and offer players of ALL abilities an opportunity to experience tournament play.  Last year, almost $10,000 was raised to support Girls Inc. programs.

If your team hasn’t already considered entering, please do.  We hope to have everyone participate in this fun-filled weekend, while supporting a great organization committed to improving the future for girls.  Please help us spread the word to others.  A broad range of divisions will be offered – from beginner rec to competitive.
